Interview with Inês Hunt Fashion Blogger

Interview with Inês Hunt Fashion BloggerToday’s Interview is with Inês Hunt (Eveasaurus Blog Owner). And here are our questions!

Q: How did you first become interested in fashion and why is it important for you?

Inês: I have always thought clothes were a great way to express yourself and show your personality. I have had many style changes through the years, and they all match my personality’d evolution. A blog is a great way to register that, I love going to posts I made 4 years ago and compare them to what I’m wearing now.

Q: What inspires you? Who are your favorite designers?

Inês: I’m greatly inspired by films and photos of the 50′s, 60′s and 70′s, but I’ve also been inpired by other bloggers lately. I love to add my own twist to outfits that inspire me. MY favourite designer has to be Orla Kiely, but I’m also a fan of Luella, Mulberry and Prada.

Q: What was the most expensive thing you have ever bought?

Inês: I’m very proud to say I’ve never went overboard and spent way too much money on something. I’ve always spent according to my budget. Maybe after a few years of being a dentist I’ll go crazy on a Mulberry bag, but not yet.

Q: What are your cost saving tips? Can you share them with our readers?

Inês: I make sure I buy all essentials when I get payed and then work around what I have left. Also, I have been applying a good ammount of self control while shopping, thinking before buying and resisting useless impulse buys. Also, I plan on a “treat” I can buy if I’ve “been good”. It’s a great help to have a reward.

Q: What things do you choose to save money on?

Inês: Snacks and sweets. The ammount of money I spend on food that I don’t really need is stupid. Starbucks, take-out, cakes, sweets… I now buy everything I know I’ll want during the weekly trip to the supermarket and take some treats with me. I also make sure I always shop the deals and sales: food, books, clothes… everything!

Q: Do you have money saving tips for our readers when it comes to fashion?

Inês: Always plan what you want to buy when you get payed. If the list is too long for my budget, I’ll split it in two months. Charity shops are a great place to go wild shopping; since pieces are really cheap, I can afford to go crazy and buy a few pieces. Also, in England there are loads of shops that do student discounts, which are great if you’re in a uni budget (like I was for 6 years!)

Q: What do you think about taking out a loan for buying something you love? Have you ever taken a loan?

Inês: I have taken a loan to go to dental school. It was the only thing I got a loan for, but hopefully it’ll be worth it. I think loans are great for important things: a house, a car, furniture… I would never get a loan for something like a shopping spree or a holiday.

Q: What are your TOP 5 favorite fashion blogs and why? Do you mind if we interview them too?
