Interview with Sandra Starbox Fashion BloggerToday’s Interview is with Sandra Starbox (Box of Style Blog Owner). And here are our questions!

Q: How did you first become interested in fashion and why is it important for you?

Sandra: I love fashion from the very beginning. I remember that sister and I played dress up as little girls, trying on mom’s dresses, heels and jewelry… Then during my High school days and started with classes in costume making and styling, so I got chance to be costume designer in small theatre for kids. Fashion just follows me :)

It’s important to me because I like to be surrounded with beautiful things, it doesn’t mean they have to be expensive, but pretty!

Q: What inspires you? Who are your favorite designers?

Sandra: I get inspired by so many beautifull people on the street, desorations, folklore, tradicion… I like to exploring old inspirations and what to know how people looked, dressed… about todays designers, I really love Stella McCartney all her philosophy about fashion, also I really like modern touch of Alexandar Wang, and Phillip Lim… but also I really enjoy in creations of really femminine and glamurous design of classics like Dior, Chanel, YSL, …. there are so many beautiful ideas!

Q: What was the most expensive thing you have ever bought?

Sandra: Most expensive… hm, I really don’t have that expensive things because i like to wear clothes not just watcing all the time and be careful how I sitt, where I walk… But I spent most my money on quality leather jacket I got five years ago and I still wear it and it looks fabulous. And after i got my Master diploma, i treated myself with retro inspired Dolce and Gabanna shoes I wanted for so long… I was really happy whet I got them!

Q: What are your cost saving tips? Can you share them with our readers?

Sandra: Saving tips… well, I like to make budget plan – first I pay bills, then food and daily expenses, then I putt some money on side for savings and spent some on things I like

Q: What things do you choose to save money on?

Sandra: I save money mostly on daily lunch, I don’t eat outside unless there’s special occasion… I usually like to make my own food. What else… hm, I like to shop, but whan I see sometnig and whant to buy it, I always asks myself, do I really need it? It works for me :)

Just imagine how much money you’ll save for traveling!! :)

Q: Do you have money saving tips for our readers when it comes to fashion?

Sandra: Always wait for sales! And I like to find unique detaild in vintage and Second Hand shops. Cheap and fun, who knows what can you find there

Q: What do you think about taking out a loan for buying something you love? Have you ever taken a loan?

Sandra: I don’t like taking loans for every day things like clothes or food. But I took loan when I was buying furniture for my new place. For more expensive things usually

When I started blogging I first saw Carla’s Closet blog and really liked her style, I still do

Then I love to see older ladies how they dress up and their style combinations. When I saw them, even on the streets on my hometown, I’m always thinking how strange is our modern world that for them because they grow up in totally different time. This ladies are true inspiration to live our lives to our fullest. is another blogger with great sense of style. I really enjoy watching her combining different clothes and patterns all together, but she’s always faithful to her personal style and vision.

I first started to read because she had great ideas for DIY collection, that includes clothes and decorations. It’s really fun to see how people are developing, sharing their personal life and thoughts to so many people they don’t know. is fabulous blog with really practical and chick ideas. Really creative, really fun and affordable. She showed that every one of us can make something fun, inspired by high fashion or not, but something that you made
