Interview with Aviva Fashion Blogger

Interview with Aviva Fashion BloggerToday’s Interview is with Aviva (AH Life and Style Blog Owner). And here are our questions!

Q: How did you first become interested in fashion and why is it important for you?

Aviva: I first became interested in fashion when I started modeling and affiliate marketing. It’s important to me because I enjoy the creative process that goes into a shoot and I love to interview designers, collaborate with them, and blog about it.

Q: What inspires you? Who are your favorite designers?

Aviva: There is not a single thing that inspires me, it’s definitely a combination of factors. I also get inspired by looking at images done by people I admire. My favorite designers are Alexander McQueen, Hubert de Givenchy, and Alberta Ferretti.

Q: What was the most expensive thing you have ever bought?

Aviva: The most expensive thing I’ve ever bought was actually Invisalign to get my teeth straight.

Q: What are your cost saving tips? Can you share them with our readers?

Aviva: If you mean cost saving tips in terms of fashion, it’s definitely worth checking out high-end consignment stores that have designer clothes, since many times people wear something once and then they sell it there. It’s guaranteed to be cheaper than going directly to the store. Also, you can find designer clothing on eBay, where it will also be cheaper.

Q: What things do you choose to save money on?

Aviva: I usually try not to spend too much money on things that I don’t need. I will try something on or look at something, then I think about it for a week or two, and then decide if I still love it as much as I did when I first saw it.

Q: Do you have money saving tips for our readers when it comes to fashion?

Aviva: Try to have a few pieces that would go well with almost everything, so you can mix and match to create new outfits. You don’t necessarily need 250 tops, 250 pairs of pants and 250 pairs of shoes. I have some pieces, which I paid a lot of money for, but they go with everything. I can dress them up, accessorize, create the casual look, etc.

Interview with Aviva Fashion BloggerQ: What do you think about taking out a loan for buying something you love? Have you ever taken a loan?

Aviva: When it comes to taking out any kind of a loan, take a look at how much income you have coming in, what your existing debt is, and how quickly you want to pay it off/if you can afford to pay it off without damaging your credit. If the loan payments you will be making if you take out the loan and the other debt you pay off, and bills that you have every month add up to more than the income you will have, then it is best to forego that loan until some of your other debt is paid off a bit more, regardless of how much you want to buy the item you love. However, if you can see that you can afford to pay off the loan without having to pay too much interest and you have enough money in the budget for those payments, then I don’t see a problem taking out a loan for buying something you love. Yes, I have taken a loan for school, but I have already paid that one off.

Q: What are your TOP 5 favorite fashion blogs and why? Do you mind if we interview them too?

My top 5 favorite fashion blogs are:

  1. The Blonde Salad by Chiara Ferragni
  2. The Sartorialist
  3. Fashion Toast by Rumi Neely
  4. Frugal Fashionista
  5. Love Maegan

I don’t mind if you interview them, as long as they want to.
